Derek Rothenberger

Derek Rothenberger has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to human resources and management. Derek currently holds the position of VP of Human Resources and Training at Iron Hill Brewery since November 2022. Prior to that, they were also the VP of HR and Training at Iron Hill Brewery from June 2019 to December 2022. Before joining Iron Hill Brewery, Derek worked as the Billing and HR Director at Simpson Meadows from November 2018 to May 2019. Derek also served as a Human Resources Manager at Lowe's Companies, Inc. from July 2017 to November 2018. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee engagement. Derek's work experience also includes being a Clerical Supervisor for the Department of Voter Services at Chester County Government from February 2013 to July 2017. In this role, they led a large team and implemented recruiting strategies for local and federal elections. Prior to that, they worked as an Electronics Specialist at Target from October 2010 to January 2013 and as an Assistant Store Manager at Finish Line from May 2005 to July 2010. In these roles, Derek gained experience in employee engagement, training, customer service, and human resources management.

Derek Rothenberger completed their education at Ashford University, starting in 2012 and graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Anthropology. Derek then pursued further education at Ashford University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing and Human Resource Management, which they completed in 2017. In addition to their degrees, Derek obtained a Caliper Essentials Certification from Caliper in November 2019.
