Stephen Rector

Stephen Rector is an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Category Manager for Completions at Chesapeake Energy since January 2015, Stephen supports various operational assets including Pressure Pumping and Wireline. Prior roles at Chesapeake Energy included responsibilities as Senior Category Manager for Fuel, Artificial Lift, Compression, and Production Equipment, as well as Procurement Coordinator II. Before joining Chesapeake Energy, Stephen worked at SandRidge Energy from January 2010 to January 2015 as a Purchasing Agent, specializing in the procurement of oilfield equipment for production and saltwater batteries across the Midcontinent and Permian Basin. Stephen holds a Master's Degree in Energy Management from Oklahoma City University and a Bachelor's Degree from Anderson University.
