Brittany Yerkes is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in physician assistance and academic instruction. Currently serving as a Physician Assistant at Chesapeake Health Care since February 2021, Brittany brings extensive experience from previous roles, including Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and various positions at Chase Brexton Health Care and Johns Hopkins institutions. Brittany holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Philadelphia University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lehigh University.

Established in 1994, Chesapeake Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving patients in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties. We have more than 100 providers in many specialties including adult and family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, urogynecology, mental health, dental, and pharmacy.
