Nicholas Hammond

Nicholas Hammond is an experienced engineer currently working at Chesapeake Utilities Corporation since June 2023. Prior to this role, Nicholas served as Product Engineering Manager at M&M Carnot from March 2021 to June 2023, and held positions as an R&D Engineer at INVISTA, Pipeline Integrity Engineer at Energy Transfer Partners, and Facility Engineer at BP. Nicholas began a career in engineering at DuPont as a Mechanical Engineer, where significant contributions included custom experimental work on thermoplastic composites and cost-reduction initiatives in high strain rate testing. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech and is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Delaware, expected to complete in 2027.
