Jayme graduated from university in 2008 with a BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance. She was also a radio presenter for Heart FM during this time. However, upon finishing her degree, she decided that her passion for teaching outweighed her enjoyment in the radio industry, so went on to study for a PGCE and has enjoyed working in education ever since.
Jayme started her teaching career in 2009 when she was appointed as a Teacher of Drama at Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College. She delivered BTEC and A Level Drama courses and taught GCSE English and maths. In 2015, she joined the Performing Arts team at Coleg Cambria where she co-ordinated the A Level Drama course, as well as supporting and mentoring new staff to the College. Jayme also has an ILM qualification in Leadership, Management, Coaching and Mentoring.
