Paul Tomkinson

Paul moved into the FE sector in 2011, having spent the previous 20 years working in a variety of secondary schools across Shropshire, Cheshire and Warrington.

Throughout his career, he has held several leadership and management roles including leading a large Mathematics faculty and being Assistant Head in charge of Curriculum Design and Development. Throughout his time working in schools, Paul continued with his professional development, achieving an MA in Education and being awarded his NPQH from the National College for Teaching and Leadership.

In his current role, Paul manages a large successful team overseeing the areas of Business, Science and Computing at the college. In addition to his management role, Paul is an experienced Mathematics practitioner, delivering on the A-level programme and is also an Expert Examiner and Team Leader with the awarding body Pearson.
