Gina O’Brien

Gina O'Brien, MD, MBA, CPE, currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at Cheshire Medical Center, where previous roles have included Interim Chief Medical Officer and Associate Chief Medical Officer since June 2022. O'Brien has extensive leadership experience, previously holding the position of Senior Medical Director at UMass Memorial Medical Center and Medical Director at Bassett Healthcare Network and Holyoke Medical Center. Additional leadership roles include Chief of Pediatrics at Holyoke Medical Center and founding President of Sugarloaf Pediatrics. O'Brien possesses a Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, an MBA from Isenberg School of Management, and is a Certified Physician Executive through the American Association for Physician Leadership. Educational background also includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Siena College.
