Ken Trainer

Ken is friendly, committed, and clever! He began his career with Chesmar Homes in 2009 after a distinguished 20-year career with a national home builder. During Ken’s tenure with Chesmar Homes, he has been instrumental in the company’s expansion into Central Texas, Dallas Fort Worth, and Carolinas. Moreover, Ken has experience serving on the Board of Houston and San Antonio Builders Associations, the San Antonio Economic and Development Foundation, the UTSA College of Business Real Estate Finance & Development, and the Texas State University Construction Advisory Board.

Ken believes strongly in the philosophy of “doing the right thing” as it pertains to business and personal situations. His approach towards business is to maintain a clear vision of the future and remain focused on the day-to-day. Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Southwest Texas State University. He and his wife, Cheryl, reside in San Antonio and have four children.
