Michael Higgins M.ed.

Michael Higgins, M.Ed. has extensive experience in human resources and talent management. Michael currently holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Chester Community Charter School. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at CTDI from 2021 to 2023. Michael also worked at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where they held various roles including Sr. Director of Strategic Talent Management & Learning and Director of Strategic Talent Management. Additionally, they served as a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner at the same organization. Before that, Michael worked at PMA Insurance Group as a Manager of Learning & Professional Development and at Radian Group as an AVP of Human Resources. Michael began their career as a Training Manager at QVC, Inc. Overall, their experience spans over 25 years and includes leadership and strategic roles in various organizations.

Michael Higgins, M.Ed. pursued their education in a systematic and determined manner. Michael first attended La Salle University from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education. Following this, they enrolled at Penn State Great Valley in 1993 and completed their Master's degree in Instructional Systems in 1997. These degrees reflect their commitment to furthering their knowledge and expertise in education.
