Jane Absalom

Jane Absalom has extensive experience in community engagement and visitor services within zoological settings. Currently serving as a Community Engagement Officer at Chester Zoo since February 2022, Jane also held the role of Fixed Term Zoo Ranger at the same institution. Prior to this, Jane worked at Blackpool Zoo from June 2020 to February 2022, progressing from Visitor Services Assistant to Visitor Services Supervisor. Additionally, Jane contributed as a Research and Education Assistant at Blackpool Zoo from September 2019 to March 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Animal Behaviour from The Manchester Metropolitan University (2018 - 2020) and a degree from the University of Chester (2015 - 2018).
