Daniel Palmer

Daniel Palmer, Sr., M. Ed., currently serves as the Safety and Security Assistant Manager for Chesterfield County Public Schools since June 2019. In this role, Daniel assists in developing and implementing training programs for school security personnel, manages after-hours emergencies, and conducts assessments to enhance school safety. Prior to this, Daniel held various educational leadership positions, including Principal in Spotsylvania County, where responsibilities included overseeing instructional programming and supporting teachers. Daniel's extensive training includes certifications in emergency response, crisis management, and school security. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science from Lynchburg College and a Master of Education from the University of Virginia, focusing on Biology and Educational Administration.
