Guillermo Gonzalez

Guillermo Gonzalez currently serves as the School Principal at Chesterfield County Public Schools since July 2016, leading the second largest Title 1 School in the county, which serves 889 students from pre-kindergarten to 5th grade, with a high poverty rate and significant populations of English Language Learners and students with disabilities. In this role, Guillermo utilizes data to drive academic performance and oversees daily operations and a staff of over 120 employees. Previously, Guillermo held the position of Assistant Principal and was an instructional leader focused on high academic achievement. Prior experience also includes serving as a Special Education Teacher at Hampton City Schools from August 2010 to July 2016, where responsibilities included developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapting lessons for diverse student needs. Guillermo holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Virginia Tech and has a Special Education Endorsement from Old Dominion University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Longwood University.
