Jesse Smith, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in transportation management and civil engineering. Currently serving as Deputy County Administrator and Director of Transportation for Chesterfield County since 2002, Jesse Smith leads efforts to plan, coordinate, and implement a multi-modal transportation system that aligns with community values and supports infrastructure development goals. Prior to this role, Jesse Smith held positions as Senior Engineer at the Virginia Department of Transportation and Associate Engineer at Anderson and Associates, Inc. Jesse Smith holds a degree from Virginia Tech.
