Timothy McKay

Timothy McKay, EFO, is a seasoned fire service professional with over two decades of experience at Chesterfield County, where roles have included Deputy Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Battalion Chief/Director of EMS, Captain, Lieutenant, and Firefighter/Paramedic. Prior to this, service as a Trooper with the Department of Virginia State Police lasted from October 1996 to October 2002. McKay holds a Master’s of Interdisciplinary Studies in Public Leadership from Virginia State University and has graduated from the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy. Additionally, McKay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Hampden-Sydney College.
