Puneet Leekha

Puneet Leekha has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Puneet started their career as a Legal Intern at Arnstein & Lehr LLP, where they assisted attorneys with corporate representation and performed legal research. Puneet later worked as a Law Clerk at Lavin & Waldon, P.C., handling corporate transactions and financing arrangements.

Moving on, Puneet joined Puneet Leekha, Ltd. as a Corporate Attorney, managing corporate and real estate transactions for a global outsourcing company. Puneet then became a Pro Bono Legal Advisor for the Network of Indian Professionals (NetIP), advising on legal concerns and drafting commercial agreements.

Puneet then worked as a Senior Associate at Popovits & Robinson, P.C., serving as outside general counsel to institutional clients and executing transactions for joint venture companies across the globe. Puneet also served as a Fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, raising funds for ALS research and providing support to individuals and families affected by the disease.

In 2015, Puneet joined Chestnut Health Systems as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, overseeing day-to-day operations and legal matters for the health and human services organization. Puneet also held positions at Chestnut Global Partners as the General Counsel and Director of Operations.

Additionally, Puneet has been actively involved in various community organizations. Puneet served as a Board Member for the Bloomington-Normal Economic Development Council and as the Chairperson of the Board for the McLean County Chamber of Commerce.

Puneet Leekha completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis between 1999 and 2003. Subsequently, from 2003 to 2006, Puneet pursued a Juris Doctor degree at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, specializing in Business Law and Real Estate Law.
