Lokesh Thota

Lokesh Thota is an experienced electrical engineering professional with a career spanning over 15 years in the cement industry. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager at Chettinad Cement Corp Pvt LTD since June 2025, Lokesh previously held similar managerial positions at HeidelbergCement India and National Cement Company, where responsibilities included overseeing electrical department operations, project management, and plant commissioning. With a solid background at JSW Cement, Lokesh managed electrical maintenance and operations across multiple plants, contributing significantly to power management and project execution. Early career experiences at Qassim Cement Company and City Cement Company further established expertise in electrical engineering, maintenance, and reliability analysis. Lokesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, completed in 2007.
