Arsineh Hecobian possesses extensive experience in the field of atmospheric chemistry, currently serving as a Methane Detection and Verification Advisor and Air Specialist at Chevron since September 2019. Previously, Arsineh worked as a Research Scientist at Colorado State University, managing projects focused on measuring methane and volatile organic compound emissions from natural gas activities in Western Colorado and the Front Range from August 2011 to September 2019. Additional experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Scholar and Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as Graduate Research positions at the Desert Research Institute and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Educational credentials include a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology and both an M.S. and B.S. in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry and Chemistry (Biochemistry) from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
