Carlos Real

Carlos Real has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, notably serving as a Turnaround Event Manager at Chevron from January 2016 to December 2023, where responsibilities included the management, planning, and execution of Turnaround activities for onshore and offshore facilities. Prior roles at Chevron included positions as a Project Field Engineer and Field Support Engineer, focusing on project engineering and ensuring the successful execution of project work-scopes. Additionally, Carlos Real has an academic background as an Assistant Professor at Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, teaching courses in Highway Design, Geographic Information Systems, and Urban and Regional Planning. Carlos Real holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from UTAD – University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro and an Engineer’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria.
