Chris Powers

Chris Powers serves as the Vice President of Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) and Emerging business at Chevron, leading global initiatives in CCS, Geothermal, and Lithium among others. With extensive experience at Chevron, Powers has held various leadership roles, including General Manager of Strategy & Business Performance for North America Exploration & Production and General Manager of Maintenance & Reliability at the Pascagoula Refinery. Previous positions include project and facilities management roles in offshore operations and contributions at Tengizchevroil and CUEL Ltd. Chris Powers holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and completed executive education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
