Gilles Hennenfent, Ph.D., has held various roles at Chevron since October 2008, currently focusing on Enterprise Digital Innovation with an emphasis on generative and agentic AI subsurface developments. Previous positions include Gulf of Mexico Applied Reservoir Management Advisor, where strategic basin initiatives and financial models were established, and Gulf of Mexico Geophysics Manager, recognized for excellence in management and execution of comprehensive geophysical work plans. Gilles has also served as Corporate Strategy Advisor, R&D Project Manager, R&D Team Lead, and Exploration & Development Geoscientist, contributing to innovative projects and collaborative research efforts. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Geophysics from The University of British Columbia and multiple advanced degrees in Physics and Engineering from prestigious institutions.
