Irvin Gutierrez

Irvin Gutierrez has extensive experience in land management within the oil and gas sector, primarily with Chevron since June 2010. Currently serving as the New Mexico Asset Development Land Manager, Irvin is responsible for onshore and offshore decommissioning activities and for managing relationships with various stakeholders. Previous roles include overseeing land activities in New Mexico and West Virginia, where Irvin successfully negotiated leases, supervised brokerage teams, and addressed title defects to enhance Chevron's interests. Irvin began the career as a Land Intern at Chevron in 2009, gaining foundational knowledge of oil and gas leases and agreements. Educational qualifications include a degree in Energy Commerce with a concentration in Petroleum Land Management and a degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University.
