Jim Gable

Jim Gable currently serves as President of Chevron Technology Ventures, a position held since March 2022, where responsibilities include championing innovation and technology strategy. From 2003 to 2022, Jim held various leadership roles at Chevron, including Vice-President of Chevron Technical Center and General Manager of Value Chain Optimization, overseeing critical operations in downstream technology, mergers and acquisitions, and refinery management. Jim's early career included roles such as Burnaby Refinery Manager and Managing Executive of Venture Capital at Chevron Technology Ventures, where significant investment operations were directed. Jim's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University.
