John Johnson

John Johnson is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the OE Delivery Manager at Chevron since November 2004. In this role, John developed the Wells Operational Excellence strategy, aligning it with Chevron’s management system by emphasizing data and risk profiles. Previously, as General Manager of Leading Performance, John led the global deployment of the Leading Performance initiative, fostering a cultural and operational transformation within the organization. Additional roles at Chevron include General Manager Operations and Wells General Manager, where John was responsible for throughput, cost control, and strategic reorganization of teams. Prior to Chevron, John held various positions at SLB from December 1992 to October 2004, including Wells Engineer and Drilling Superintendent. John holds education credentials from The Wharton School, completed between May 2021 and August 2022.
