Kirsten Thorne

Kirsten Thorne is an accomplished General Manager of Strategy at Chevron, a position held since August 2003, overseeing various teams focused on strategy, data analytics, social performance, and risk management. Kirsten's leadership has been instrumental in managing social, political, and reputational risks globally and advancing Chevron's corporate responsibility and environmental strategies. Previous roles at Chevron include Manager of Public Policy and U.S. Legislative and Regulatory Affairs and Manager of Global Policy and ESG Reporting and Performance. Prior to joining Chevron, Kirsten held positions at Unocal as a Communications Coordinator and Law Clerk. Kirsten holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in Environmental and Land Use Law from Chapman University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Art History from Whittier College.
