Samantha Lares

Samantha Lares is an experienced professional in the petroleum engineering field, currently serving as the Competitive Performance Team Lead at Chevron since August 2014. With a career at Chevron that includes roles as Reservoir Management Performance Advisor, Deep Water GoM Appraisal Reservoir Engineer, and Ballymore GoM Reservoir Engineer, Samantha has built a robust expertise following an earlier tenure at Chevron from 2004 to 2014 in various reservoir engineering positions, including Captain Reservoir Engineer and Onshore Europe Shale Gas Reservoir Engineer. Briefly, Samantha also worked as a Reservoir Engineer at Oxy in 2007. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Oil and Gas Management from Robert Gordon University, a PgDip in Reservoir Characterization from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad del Zulia.
