Valerie Acosta

Valerie Acosta, CFRE, has a diverse background in public and government affairs, nonprofit leadership, and community development. Currently serving as a Public and Government Affairs Advisor at Chevron since March 2023, Acosta previously held the role of Executive Director at Healthy City from August 2020 to February 2023. Other notable positions include Head of Advancement at Holy Cross Catholic High School and Executive Director at the Midland County Public Library Foundation, where the focus was on enhancing library operations and funding. Acosta also directed the Bush Tennis Center and served in various capacities with the Boy Scouts of America, including Development Director and Professional Scouter. Acosta holds a B.A. in Journalism and International Studies from Northwest Missouri State University, completed in 2000.
