Michael Heger

Michael Heger, CISSP, CISA, is a seasoned Information Technology Audit Manager at Chevron Federal Credit Union since March 2022, where responsibilities include conducting IT risk assessments and developing annual audit plans. Previously, Michael served at UnitedHealth Group from June 2015 to March 2022, progressing from an IT Audit Consultant to a Senior IT Audit Consultant, leading various IT audits across the organization, and effectively managing communication between audit teams and business units. Earlier experience includes roles as a Startup Operations Analyst at Optum Technology and a Student Team Lead at Iowa State University's IT Solution Center, along with internships in IT at UnitedHealth Group and Cargill. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University.
