Dan Gillis

Dan Gillis currently serves as Technology Director at Chevron Lummus Global, a position held since April 2015, after previously assuming the role of Director Technology at the same company. Prior experience includes leadership in heavy oil technologies at Amec Foster Wheeler and significant contributions to UOP LLC, where Dan managed commercialization of heavy oil processes. Earlier roles at Indian Refining Limited Partnership and BP Oil focused on optimizing refinery operations and developing clean fuel production opportunities. Dan began the professional journey at SASKOIL and Consumers Co-operative Refinery, enhancing technical development and operational support. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
