Hermes Hinojosa

Hermes Hinojosa is an accomplished cost engineering professional with extensive experience in the petrochemical and energy industries. Currently serving as Lead Cost Engineer at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company since February 2025, Hermes has previously held pivotal roles, including Principal Cost Engineer at Mexico Pacific Limited for the Saguaro Energia Project and lead positions at both Chevron Phillips and ExxonMobil. With a robust background in project controls and cost management dating back to positions at Total and Motiva Enterprises, Hermes has successfully managed complex projects such as the Mozambique LNG Project and various ethylene and polyethylene projects. A graduate of Universidad La Salle with a degree in Civil Engineering, Hermes brings a strong foundation in engineering principles to all projects undertaken.
