Zachary Navarro has a diverse work experience in various fields. Zachary started their career as a Consumer Information Specialist at the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation in 2011. Zachary then worked as an Intern at the House of Commons, assisting Robert Buckland MP and Justin Tomlinson MP. Zachary also served as a Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University from 2011 to 2013. In 2012, they worked as a Legislative Intern for Congresswoman Louise M. Slaughter and the House Committee on Rules. In 2013, they took on the role of Office Assistant at Downey Investment & Capital Management before becoming a Research Assistant at ICF International, where they managed a microfinance program and conducted data analysis. Zachary then worked at the House of Commons as a Research Assistant for Gordon Marsden MP, where they focused on transportation issues and drafted articles. In 2016, they became the Programs Manager at the Office of Jeremy Rifkin, where they conducted research and helped draft economic master plans for countries and regions. Currently, Zachary is the Vice President and Thematic Research Analyst at Chevy Chase Trust, where they research the global macroeconomic environment and focuses on the "Intangible" investment theme.
Zachary Navarro has a diverse educational background. Zachary attended Fairport High School from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a New York State Regents Degree with Distinction. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Northeastern University from 2009 to 2013, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and International Affairs.
During their undergraduate studies, Zachary also had the opportunity to study abroad. In 2010-2011, they participated in a visiting semester at The American University of Paris, focusing on International Security. In 2012-2013, they continued their studies abroad at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specializing in European Politics as part of a visiting semester.
Further pursuing their academic interests, Zachary returned to LSE for their postgraduate studies. From 2014 to 2015, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Politics & Government of the European Union at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
