Chris Winkler

Chris Winkler is an experienced software engineering leader with a strong background in performance engineering. Currently serving as Associate Director of Software Engineering at Chewy, Chris has a track record of building observability platforms and performance measurement frameworks to ensure the health and scalability of technology systems. Prior roles include Performance Engineering Team Lead at Toast, Inc. and EnerNOC, and Performance Engineer at Fidelity Investments, where performance testing and project management were key responsibilities. Early in the career, Chris held roles at Motricity and PowerTest, focusing on performance testing methodologies and consulting services, respectively. Chris holds a degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
