David Reeder

David Reeder joined Chewy in February 2024 as the Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for leading Chewy’s financial activities, including strategic planning, operations, accounting, reporting, investments, and overseeing all financial functions.​​

With more than 20 years of experience in Finance, David has held previous leadership roles at Tower Insurance Group, Lexmark International, Inc., Electronics and Imaging, Inc., and held executive roles at Cisco Systems, Inc., Broadcom Inc., and Texas Instruments Incorporated. Most recently, David was Chief Financial Officer of GlobalFoundries Inc. (GFS) and oversaw GFS’s initial public offering in 2021. David has served as a director on the board of directors of Entegris, Inc. since March 2024 and on the board of directors of Alphawave IP Group plc since September 2023. ​​

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University. ​​​

David has a close-knit family and is a proud parent to three children and three pets. They have lived and worked in five countries together. During downtime, he enjoys reading, sports, and spending time on the lake.​
