Eric Huang

Eric Huang, Ph.D., is an accomplished data science leader currently serving as the Associate Director of Data Science for FC operations and Supply Chain Replenishment at Chewy, where Eric has established the company’s first dedicated science unit and led teams in developing integrated tools for supply chain optimization. Previously, Eric held key roles at Amazon, directing sustainability initiatives and implementing machine learning optimization programs, and at Alibaba Group as a Staff Algorithm Engineer, where resource allocation models were developed to align with strategic objectives. Eric also has academic experience as an Assistant Professor at Clemson University and currently teaches a course in Supply Chain Systems at the University of Washington. Eric holds a Ph.D. in Transportation Systems from the University of California, Davis, and advanced degrees from the National University of Singapore and Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
