Jeffrey Orvedal

Jeffrey Orvedal has a work experience that spans over two decades, holding various roles in facility management and operations. Jeffrey started their career in 2000 as a Production Manager at Dee, Inc. In 2001, they worked as a Consultant at Northrop Grumman. In 2002, they joined RiverView Health as the Director of Plant Operations and held that position until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Jeffrey worked as the Director of Facility Operations at Sanford Health, overseeing plant operations in northern Minnesota. Since 2017, they have been working at CHI St. Alexius Health as the Director of Facility Management, managing facility operations and overseeing nutritional services and environmental services.

Jeffrey Orvedal, CHFM, CLSS-HC, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Jeffrey also completed another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Natural Sciences from the University of North Dakota, which they received from 1981 to 1984. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) from the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) and Certified Life Safety Specialist - Healthcare from NFPA in 2019.
