Kimberly Pedersen

Kimberly Pedersen is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in behavioral healthcare. Currently serving as the Lead Assessment and Referral Clinician at Chicago Behavioral Hospital since October 2018, Kimberly previously worked in various roles at the same institution, including as a Program Therapist. Responsibilities include facilitating individual and group therapy for dual diagnosis patients, developing tailored care plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary care. Kimberly also brings experience from an internship at MacNeal Hospital, where case management and therapy for diverse adult populations were key duties. Early roles included counseling at Chicago Treatment and Counseling Centers and internships focused on substance abuse at both Lake County Health Department and Staben Center. Kimberly holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and undergraduate degrees from Loyola University Chicago and College of Lake County.
