Kathryn Irving has over 10 years of experience working in various roles within the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center. Kathryn began their career as a Program Assistant in October 2010 and later became a Resource Specialist in February 2012. In July 2013, they were promoted to Program Manager for the PATHH and Family Supports department. From July 2019 to July 2020, they served as the Assistant Director for the same department before assuming their current position as the Director of PATHH and Family Support Services in July 2020.
Before joining the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, Kathryn worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer for the American Red Cross from July 2007 to July 2008.
Kathryn Irving pursued their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from SUNY Geneseo. Kathryn studied at SUNY Geneseo from 2005 to 2007. Later, they attended the University at Buffalo from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Social Work.
