Chicago Children's Advocacy Center
Ksenia Chernova is a clinical supervisor and trauma therapist at the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center since January 2021, specializing in individual, family, and group therapy for clients affected by sexual abuse and complex trauma. Prior experience includes serving as a site leader at the Wood Family Foundation, where programming focused on social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices, and as a trauma interventionist at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, providing crisis intervention and support for victims of violent injuries. Ksenia also directed the Chicago site for Notre Dame Mission Volunteers-AmeriCorps, overseeing corps members and ensuring compliance with service regulations, and worked as a school social work intern with LEARN Charter School Network, offering counseling and support to K-5 students. Ksenia holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in psychology and anthropology from Loyola University Chicago.
