Nick Chamernik

Nick Chamernik is a skilled lighting professional with extensive experience in the theatre industry, currently serving as Lighting Supervisor at Chicago Children's Theatre since July 2024. Chamernik has held positions as Theater Technician at Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and Associate Lighting Designer for Manual Cinema’s touring production of “Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About a Terrible Monster” since January 2022. Notable roles also include Head Electrician for multiple productions at Theater Wit and Remy Bumppo Theatre Company, as well as a Projections Operator for "The Who's Tommy" at Goodman Theatre. Chamernik holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Theatre Design and Production (Lighting Design) from Illinois State University, earned in 2019.
