Erin Yancey joins the policy team at Chicago CRED as a Policy Analyst, reporting to Samantha Fields, Director of Government Innovations. In this role, she will support the development and implementation of policies aimed at gun violence reduction in Chicago. She will also provide capacity building support for community-based violence intervention organizations.
Erin is a recent graduate of the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy where she earned a Master of Public Policy degree. While at UChicago, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Crime & Education Lab supporting the rollout of the City of Chicago's Violence Reduction Dashboard. Prior to attending UChicago, she was an Account Director at Chase Design Group providing client relationship and project management for several Fortune 500 consumer brands.
