Eli Shayer

Eli Shayer is an experienced professional in the field of data analysis and baseball systems, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Baseball Systems for the Chicago Cubs since June 2016. Prior roles at the Chicago Cubs include Senior Software Engineer/Analyst, Analyst, and Developer within the Research & Development department, alongside an internship in the same area. Eli Shayer contributed as a Data Analyst for AZ Alkmaar from January 2016 to June 2020 and worked as a Temporary Staff Analyst II at Northern Economics Inc. during 2014 and 2015. Eli Shayer obtained a Master’s degree in Statistics from Stanford University in 2018, following a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical and Computational Science from the same institution in 2018, and completed high school at West Anchorage High School in 2014.
