Roger Blanco

Roger Blanco is a seasoned sports producer and production assistant with extensive experience in live broadcasting and sports media. Currently serving as a Sports Producer at Fox 32 Chicago, Roger oversees the production of segments for shows in collaboration with the Chicago Bears, creating innovative content and managing live sports shows. Previous roles include XPression Operator/Production Assistant for the Chicago Cubs, where support for game day operations and post-production were key responsibilities, and multiple positions at Big Ten Network, including FoxBox Operator and Quality Control Operator, where Roger was instrumental in live event broadcasting and student productions. Roger's career also encompasses valuable experience at WGN-TV, SMT, Nexstar Media Group, and Illinois Public Media, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
