Robert Chmielewski

Robert Chmielewski is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning, strategy, and analysis. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at the Chicago History Museum since July 2025, Robert also holds the position of Global Strategic Consultant at Innovative Insights International, LLC from February 2018 to the present. Prior roles include Managing Director of Financial Planning and Strategy and Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at OneGoal from September 2018 to June 2025, and Senior Director of Finance & Administration at Language Stars from January 2016 to April 2018. Robert's earlier experience includes various audit roles at Knutte & Associates (now Sikich) and an Accounting Internship at the same firm in 2009. Academic credentials include an MBA from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, a Masters of Accounting Science with a concentration in International Business from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with a Spanish Minor from the same institution, coupled with studies at Universitat de Barcelona.
