Ahlam Khouri

Ahlam Khouri has over two decades of experience in development management, currently serving as the Director of Development Management at the Chicago Housing Authority since July 2000. Ahlam has played a key role in the redevelopment of a 65-acre area at the Cabrini Green site in Chicago's Gold Coast. Previous positions within the Chicago Housing Authority include Senior Development Manager and Development Manager, as well as Asset Manager overseeing a portfolio of 1,825 senior housing units. In addition to this extensive experience, Ahlam served as a Board Member for the Chicago Sister Cities Program from 2004 to 2006 and worked as a Project Manager for the City of Chicago from 1998 to 2000. Ahlam holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned between 1993 and 1996.
