Leonard Langston, Jr. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in property and asset management, as well as political and intergovernmental affairs. Currently serving as the Interim Chief Property Officer at the Chicago Housing Authority since September 2015, Langston has held various significant roles within the organization, including Deputy Chief of Property and Asset Management and Director of Portfolio Management. Prior to this, Langston was the Political Director for Chicago for Rahm Emanuel and held multiple positions within the Chicago Public Schools, including Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. Additionally, Langston has experience as a Field Organizer for Chicago for Rahm Emanuel and served as Executive Director at The Ark of Saint Sabina. Academically, Langston earned a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Morehouse College.
