Lane Alexander

Lane Alexander serves as the Founding Director of the Chicago Human Rhythm Project (CHRP) since August 1988, where responsibilities include presenting percussive arts through various performance and education initiatives, promoting social reconciliation via long-term collaborations, and facilitating economic development through equitable cultural investment. Additionally, from November 2007 to November 2017, Lane Alexander held the position of Senior Advisor and Faculty Member at the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. Education comprises a degree from The University of Texas at Austin, attended from 1977 to 1981.
