Allison Hansen Sussna

Allison Hansen Sussna serves as the Chief Schools Officer at Chicago International Charter School since April 2021, leveraging a strong background in educational leadership. Previous experiences include the role of Principal at Acero Schools from June 2016 to September 2020, and Program Evaluator and Consultant at District of Columbia Public Schools from June 2014 to May 2016. Earlier in their career, Sussna worked as a Teacher Coach at the University of Pennsylvania from September 2012 to June 2014 and as an Elementary School Teacher with Teach For America from July 2009 to June 2012. Sussna holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Education Leadership and a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) in School Leadership, both from the University of Pennsylvania, alongside a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History and Political Science from Northwestern University.
