Charlotte Curtis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Charlotte began their career in 1999 as Supervisor of the Diversity Unit at the Cook County Social Service Department, where they supervised caseloads and assisted clients and staff. In 2007, they transitioned to their own business as a Mobile Notary at Curtis & Curtis Mobile Notary Services. Charlotte managed office duties, maintained listings of signing agencies and title companies, and completed notarizations for various financial transactions. In 2012, they joined the University of Illinois as a Call Center Representative, initiating and receiving calls to schedule medical appointments and ensuring accurate patient information. Finally, in 2014, they became the Director of Parent Partnership at the Chicago Jesuit Academy.

Charlotte Curtis attended Western Illinois University from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Sociology. Charlotte also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement Administration from the same university from 1988 to 1992.
