Susan Peters Schaefer

Susan Peters Schaefer is a Middle School Social Studies Teacher at Chicago Jesuit Academy since June 2022. Prior to this role, Susan served as a Partner at Winston & Strawn LLP from July 2017 to June 2022, specializing in ERISA investment matters and leading the firm's Title 1 practice. Susan also held the position of Partner at McDermott Will & Emery from September 1994 to July 2017 and worked as an Associate at Keck Mahin & Cate from September 1989 to August 1994. Susan holds a Master of Education from Dominican University, a Doctor of Law from the University of Illinois College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Grinnell College.
