George Clay

George Clay has extensive experience in the manufacturing and laboratory environments, particularly in metal testing and paper production. Currently serving as a Metal Testing Laboratory Technician at Chicago Magnesium Casting Co since July 2015, George specializes in operating and maintaining the ThermoFisher Scientific ARL 3460 Spectrometer and ensuring the organization and storage of chemical samples according to quality control standards. Prior to this role, George worked as a Paper Machine Operator 3 at Futuremark Paper Company from 2000 to 2014, where responsibilities included retrieving and testing production samples to verify compliance with quality standards using various testing methods. George holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Network Systems Administration from DeVry University, earned between 2015 and 2016.
