Noel Quiñones

Noel Quiñones is an experienced English Literature Teacher at San Francisco University High School, focusing on the 9th grade curriculum and offering electives in Latinx literature and spoken word poetry while mentoring incoming students. As Poet in Residence at the Chicago Poetry Center, Noel hosts virtual performances for students, and serves as a Poetry Book Reviewer for Muzzle Magazine. Previous roles include College Essay Coach at College Transitions, Graduate Instructor at the University of Mississippi, and various positions in creative writing instruction. Noel holds an MFA in Poetry from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College, specializing in English Literature, Educational Studies, and Creative Writing.
